What a booking payment is
The price shown on each option is the full amount for that booking. A Qurbani booking pays for the option chosen: Goat, Buffalo Share or Full Buffalo. The payment covers the Qurbani on the animal described on the option page and the distribution of the meat to people in need. The amount is shown again in the cart before anything is paid.
Who receives the payment
Qurbani Centre is operated by Daan Foundation, a registered charitable trust. Payment is made by bank transfer to the Daan Foundation account on the Bank Details page. Use your order number as the payment reference and send the transfer receipt with that number on WhatsApp or by email.
The WhatsApp number on that page is for communication and payment confirmation only. Please do not make a UPI payment directly to it, and never send passwords, card details or one-time codes.
What the donor receives
The booking is confirmed once the amount is received. Qurbani is then performed during Eid ul Adha, on the 10th, 11th or 12th of Dhul Hijjah, and once your Qurbani is performed a confirmation is sent to you on WhatsApp. The status recorded for your order can be viewed on the Track Booking page. The meat is distributed to people in need and is not delivered to the donor.
Receipts and records
After checkout you receive an order number. Use it as the payment reference, keep the bank transfer receipt, and send the receipt with the order number on WhatsApp or by email so the payment can be matched to the booking. The booking is confirmed once the amount is received, and your Qurbani donation is finalised once you receive the booking number.
If you ever pay by mistake to the WhatsApp number instead of the bank account, send the payment screenshot on WhatsApp; the Bank Details page says the payment will still be accepted and the booking confirmed after verification.
